We Are…

We are four dudes living in London...And to expand on that:

We four combined our skills to create a design collective capable of delivering solutions and entertainment on an epic scale. Individually we come from different corners of creative life: Rocky and Dan stem from more of a creative background in fine art: painting and illustration with a dabble here and there in sculpture, drums, guitar, photography, life drawing and both have been schooled in Product Design at Central St. Martins for the past two years. That is not to say those two are similar in anyway, Dan, home grown here in the UK would kill a man if they slandered Chelsea FC and he also paints like a man possessed; while Rocky, from Hong Kong and somewhere in Canada that I can not remember, speaks like he is from California, and can draw any creature you can contemplate and most you can't. Lee and I (Taylor) have come from mightily different back grounds: Lee started out as an accountant, finding this boring, he toured the world, lived on a beach in Australia by selling his drawings, finding this most agreeable, decided that a more creative life stile was the right way to go. Lee is now, like Dan and Rocky, nearing completion of his Product Design course at CSM, owns his own T-shirt company, has his own blog, his own Seeding company, and creates things for ZoneCreation, as well as things like marketing and print making on the side. I seem to resort to the more technical side of things... my background is varried and ranges from mechanic to wedding entertainer to well whatever paid the best at the time, now I am here with these three in London. I graduated from CSM this year, after two years, the two years prior to that I studied Industrial Design in Boston, MA, in my home country. I shipped over here to get a better grip on how the rest of the world viewed design, and ended up at CSM to finish off my degree.

Our four backgrounds set us up for remarkable possibilities, our diverse upbringing lends it self to truly creative design solutions. Our drive to continually find new things maintains our open mindedness, and keeps us out of design ruts that so many seem to get stuck in.
