For fear of ruining your social life. So here at 22GL we got a new xbox, and lets just say we have been playing games. Lots of it. Games today are like movies, really really good movies, and like movies, you just have to sit and watch until its done! I am here to warn you to not follow our path of social self sabotage. Here is a list of couple games i recommend you not to touch if you want to leave your house couch.
If you played the first one, you know how awesomely addicting this game is. Left For Dead 2 puts you in the shoes of a group of zombie apocalypse survivors, and like the first one, you have to shoot and beat your way out of the endless hordes on undead goodness. Just seeing zombies exploding constantly will have you end up looking like one in front of your TV.
Assassins Creed 2 is coming out this month, and like its previous version, its gonna be badass. This time, you are jumping around the beautiful renaissance architecture of Venice, and of course, assassinating beautiful renaissance people. Its a shame the story of the last Assassins Creed ended on quite the cliff hanger, cause now i HAVE to play it to find out what happens... oh well.
Here is the culprit to me and Taylors insomnia problem. Borderlands is like kinda like crack, ive never had crack before but im guessing its like playing this game. The endless wastelands the game is set in lets you have hours and hours of gameplay. And for some reason shooting mobs of baddies over and over never gets old. The in-game 'gun creator' literally lets you pick up bazzilons of guns so you never have to fire the same one twice. If you want to ruin your social life.... this is one of the best ways to do it, and if you do, bring a friend!
If you ask any of us here at the house, we can tell you that of the many years we have known each other the one thing we have in common is that we love Modern Warfare. We can also tell you we have all been pooping ourselves for the arrival of Modern Warfare 2, especially Lee! Like the first one, Modern Warfare 2 will have an amazingly alluring storyline, but better yet, an engaging multiplayer that will have us bundled up in our living room killing each other in front of a warm winter fire for weeks, months, even years. The end of 22GL is near!
EDIT Modern Warfare is so good that I (a man who has never owned an Xbox, let alone a console), BOUGHT an Xbox controller just so that we can play multiplayer Call of Duty.
