How Far Will Humans Go?

Odd as this question may sound, it popped into my head when I read this article about how some of our top scientists are trying to combat climate change.... We have no morals. Now I know something has to be done in order to change global trends hell bent on destruction, but sending huge mirrors into space to shade us from the sun, just sounds like it just may have horrid repercussions in the future... or dumping iron filings into the ocean to increase algae growth, thus increasing O2 production.... what... This all reminds me of a Futurama episode where, they solve global warming problem ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!
