Good afternoon to you all. Once again, I feel I have been neglecting my blog-based duties in favour of other, less computer-based activites (Gasp!). Indeed, I have been reading, playing guitar, drawing and even painting (some of these artistic endeavours should show their face around these parts soon) my time away now that unis over for the summer. Design, I must admit, has not really entered my thoughts, and it's been bloody marvellous. Anyway, this blog isn't about me, it's about the finer, creative things in life and today I've become slightly obsessed by the work of the endlessly innovative Disney-Pixar. I never managed to find the time to see "Up" but I stumbled across this video in the depths of the interweb and I think it is absolutely fantastic. Its a short animation that came attached to said film and it goes by the name of "Partly Cloudy". It makes me feel like a child again and its possibly some of the best six minutes I've ever spent in my life (thats what she said).
Once you have recovered from that, heres an illustrative comparison between the creative processess of Pixar (awesome) vs. Dreamworks (making the same film over and over again).

VS.

Fantastic.
